Built by a man who needed this.
And could not find it.

Baat Man Ki started with a simple realisation -- men have almost nowhere to go when things get hard. Not really.

I am a man in my mid-thirties. IIM grad. Working at a big tech company. On paper, the kind of life that is supposed to feel sorted.

But somewhere along the way -- between the targets and the meetings and the WhatsApp groups -- I started noticing something. I had a lot of people around me and almost nobody I could actually talk to. Not about the real stuff. Not about the anxiety that shows up on Sunday nights. Not about the numbness that sets in when you have been performing "fine" for too long.

I looked around and realised I was not alone in this. Every man I knew was carrying something. Most of them had no outlet except work harder, drink a little, scroll a little more. The idea of therapy felt distant -- clinical, expensive, and somehow not quite built for men like us.

So I started thinking: what would actually work for men? What would make a man actually show up?

The answer was a group. Small, private, led by someone qualified. A space where you could use an alias if you wanted. Where the conversation was in Hindi and English because that is how we actually think. Where no one was going to judge you for not having the words yet.

That is Baat Man Ki. “The talk of man” -- and also a play on the Hindi phrase for listening to your heart. Both felt right.

I built this because I believe men need space. Men need groups. Men need to hear other men say, “yeah, me too” -- and realise it does not make them weak. It makes them human.

Simple things we believe.

🗣️

Talking is not weakness

We were taught the opposite. We are here to undo that -- one conversation at a time.

👥

Men need groups

There is something that happens when men hear each other. It shifts something. It is different from therapy alone.

🔒

Safety first, always

Real names are optional. Recording is never allowed. What happens in the group stays there.

You do not have to have it figured out.
Just show up.

Fill in a short form and we will WhatsApp you within 24 hours. No pressure, no pitch -- just a conversation.
